Summer Lovin'

      Summer can't come faster. I'm beyond excited for all the things I have planned and for all the days I don't have anything planned. Playing lacrosse has always been something I enjoy more than anything and I'm lucky enough to go to Connecticut to play in an invitational showcase with east coast girls! Day in day out I have been putting in so much time and effort to be in the best shape possible to be the best player I can. Hopefully, while I'm at the showcase I'll get picked up by a scout to play college ball. That's my biggest goal after high school. My highlight reel is in the process of being finished. Lacrosse just makes me so happy.
     Sometimes I wish that people at school got more involved in lacrosse because it's so much to watch and even more fun to play. I already can't wait for next season because I know that it will be our year to shine. I love my team and I love representing West Jordan and hopefully soon a college with a kick butt team.
     I would just like to recognize my family for being the biggest supporter of my life and my dream. If it wasn't for them then I wouldn't be here today. Also, Alyssa Murray my biggest lacrosse idol. She's an attacker for Syracuse and holds the record in NY for scoring the most goals in a high school season and she is an All-American. Someday I'm going to be as good as her and I'm going to keep watching all her games.
